Ticket fiasco at Commonwealth Games...

THE mystery about thousands of missing Commonwealth Games tickets and empty venues is beginning to unravel.

Two people were arrested for ticket scalping - one an Organising Committee volunteer, the other a schoolteacher selling free tickets meant for her students.

The weekend arrests are a further embarrassment for the problem-plagued Organising Committee, facing rising public anger over the ticketing fiasco and its continued insistence of buoyant ticket sales in the face of near-empty stadiums. More...
