A New Zealand TV presenter has resigned after causing a diplomatic row and being accused of racism by mocking the name of an Indian government official.
Paul Henry, who worked at state-backed broadcaster Television New Zealand, is known for his provocative "shock jock" style.
It came into play when referring to New Delhi's chief minister, Sheila Dikshit.
While Ms Dikshit's surname indicates a member of the Brahmin caste - the highest priestly caste among Indians - and means one who has is on a higher religious level than others, it has other connotations in the English language. More...
