An amateur meteorologist has set up an amazingly detailed weather forecast service for his tiny village because he is fed up with incorrect predictions.

Simon Cansic’s website offers information for 24 hours a day and includes details about wind speed, cloud height and air pressure.

It provides updates every two seconds for the North Yorkshire village of Duggleby, which has a population of less than 50 and no pub or newsagent. More...
