The ninth human foot to wash up in the Pacific Northwest since 2007 has been found on a Washington State island about 50 kilometres south of Seattle, police say.
A tourist strolling along a beach found the foot Friday at around 11:15 a.m. on the east side of Whidbey Island, one of nine islands located in Island County about 48 kilometres north of Seattle.
“Just a foot – no shoe, no sock,” said Island County Detective Ed Wallace. “It’s a complete foot minus a few bones, with the muscles and ligaments still attached.” More...
