Paul, the psychic octopus that gained near star- status during the World Cup for correctly predicting Germany's results, as well as the result of the final, will be going nowhere, DPA reported.
Earlier Thursday British media said that Madrid's Zoo Aquarium was willing to do whatever it took to get the octopus to Madrid after it correctly predicted a Spanish win against Netherlands in Sunday's final.
A spokesman for the Zoo Aquarium said they were prepared to offer the Sea Life Centre Oberhausen, where Paul is housed, "whatever they demand". More...
