Scottish driver made bankrupt over £18,000 parking fines!!!

A LAWYERS' assistant has been declared bankrupt after running up at least £18,000 worth of unpaid parking fines in a year.

Paralegal Claire Williams, 27, left her black VW Beetle in metered spaces outside her work and strolled off without paying hundreds of times.

Cash-strapped Aberdeen City Council took her to court. And yesterday, a sheriff gave the council the go-ahead to seize her assets and sell them off to settle her bill. More...
