Iceland's vocanic ash was a ... hoax???

After the UK air traffic ban was lifted in the wake of the volcanic ash cloud, rumours are circulating that the whole thing was a massive hoax to see how far that our governments could flex their muscle.

The Ban was only lifted above the uk after Willie WalshWillie Walsh the British Airways boss called the governments bluff and demanded that 26 aircraft that he sent towards the UK be allowed to land. He said: ‘I don’t believe it was necessary to impose a blanket ban on all UK airspace last Thursday.
