Arab bloggers seek wider readership with print newspaper...

Arab bloggers are seeking to reach out to those who are not familiar with their online activities, or the blogosphere, through a newly launched weekly print newspaper.

Wasla, or Link, is the first of its kind in the Arab world to take the postings of prominent bloggers to readers who might not be able to see them online.

'The main aim of the newspaper is to create communication between bloggers and the political and intellectual elite,' said Gamal Eid, executive director of the Arabic Network for Human rights Information (ANHRI), the non-profit organization that funds the project. More...
