French president not that French after all!!! National identity, Monsieur Sarkozy?

Nicolas Sarkozy's immigrant grandparents came close to being deported from France because they did not have university educations, it emerged today.

The revelation will come as a severe embarrassment to the French President at a time when he is trying to ensure that only those with advanced academic or technical qualifications are allowed to settle in the country.
