Prince Charles: Iraq war was a "big mistake..."

Prince Charles was so opposed to the war in Iraq that he broke Royal tradition and campaigned against the military operation, it has been reported.

The heir to the throne told politicians Tony Blair was making a "big mistake", sources told the News of the World.

He is reported to have mockingly referred to Mr Blair as "our glorious leader" and dismissed intelligence he read on the need for war.

A source told the paper: "The prince thought Blair was making a big mistake and he made his stance clear to influential people and politicians." More...
