Yet another devotee in India offers his tongue to a deity...

A devotee, fed up with poverty and in a bid to become rich, cut off his tongue and offered it to `MaaKali'. The devotee became unconscious and was admitted in a nearby primary health centres by relatives. 

Phulkaran alias Chotkau, resident of Judpania village under Sirsia police station, observed fast for 9 days and on the 9th day, he received blessings from mother, father and two daughters before carrying out `Havan' in a temple. After performing the puja he requested for blessings and arranged `Kanya Bhoj'. With a thought that his desires would be fulfilled, he cut off tongue and offered it to `Maa Kali'.
