The power of the Internet enabled a woman in the Philippines to alert her husband to thieves burglarizing his Midwest City apartment last weekend.
It was nighttime in the nation of islands off the coast of southeastern China when, though a webcam, she heard a loud noise coming from Air Force Master Sgt. James Chouinard’s apartment about 8,000 miles away.
"It caused her to wake up, and she looked and boom, there these kids were crawling through the window,” Chouinard said Tuesday.
Chouinard called 911 and relayed his wife’s description of the robbers to a dispatcher. More...
