Tiger Woods becomes the first billion-dollar sportsman...

Tiger Woods has become the first billion-dollar sportsman after 13 years as a professional golfer.

According to Forbes, the $10million [£6.2m] bonus that Woods collected to for winning the FedEx Cup pushed him over the $1 billion [£620m] mark in total career earnings.

The 34-year-old American, who has won 14 major championships, has been the world's highest paid sportsman since 2002 when he overtook Formula One's Michael Schumacher. More...
