Muhammad Ali the Irishman given hero's welcome in Ireland...

Muhammad Ali was greeted with a roar to rival even the Rumble in the Jungle when he took a few frail steps on the Turnpike Road today, from where his great grandfather Abe Grady set out for the New World almost 150 years ago. 

The former three-times World Heavyweight Champion was welcomed like the prodigal returning son when he arrived in Ennis, capital of County Clare, and made its first Freeman. Henceforth the famous Nation of Islam member is now also Ali the Irishman. More...
