Revenge of the snake may be an Indian folklore but it became unnervingly real on Friday night. In a tragic tale that left a child dead, two snakes apparently tried to avenge the killing of a baby reptile by going for the son of the migrant labourer who had slaughtered it.
The incident occurred at a construction site in Industrial Area, Phase IX, where labourers working there have erected some huts. According to information, upon spotting a baby snake in the area during evening hours, a labourer, Uttar Pradesh resident Omvir Singh caught hold of it and killed it. More...
