The ditty is the latest bit of propaganda warfare that the Pakistani establishment has launched, this time in cyberspace. Faced with an internal enemy in Pakistan Taliban, the establishment in our western flank is looking to involve public opinion in its favour in its raging battle in Swat. The four-minute song is seen by experts as serving twin-purpose: a message to the troops to bash ‘dahshat’ (terror)while simultaneously introducing the Pakistani diaspora to the seriousness of the problem.
