Wife groaning with lover; husband thinks burglar is torturing her; calls police!!!

A terrified husband called police when he mistook his wife's groans of passion with her lover for a burglar torturing her in the bedroom.  

University lecturer Gerardo Ferrari had left his wife sleeping when he went to work but returned 30 minutes later after forgetting his office keys.

But when he heard shrieks coming from upstairs he thought a crook was in the house in Pavia, northern Italy, and called the police.

Minutes later police firearms experts snatched his wife from the bedroom and found her terrified lover cowering naked in the wardrobe.
