Susan Boyle walks on to the stage. Britain’s Got Talent. Not very impressive. The judges look bored and almost embarrassed. She says she want to be another Elaine Page. Sniggers. Disbelief. This 47-year-old dowdily-dressed woman wants to be a singer???
What a laugh!
And then Susan Boyle opened her mouth to sing. The laughing stopped. And the world suddenly seemed a better place…
