Remembering the Columbine tragedy...


It was ten years ago, but for many, the pain is still raw.

Last night they came in hundreds, bearing candles and flowers, to attend a sunset vigil to honour the 13 people killed in the tragedy of Columbine.

On April 20, 1999, two gunmen walked into the school and opened fire, killing 12 of their fellow students and a teacher. About two dozen other people were injured before the gunmen killed themselves.

Last night the survivors - family, friends, and former students now grown up - remembered the horror. More + pictures...
