Steven Gerrard: Let's not play on the 20th.anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy...

STEVEN GERRARD has made an impassioned plea to UEFA for Liverpool to be spared the ordeal of playing a Champions League quarter-final on the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy.

April 15 will be forever etched in the mind of the Anfield skipper and everyone connected with the club following the deaths of 96 fans in Britain’s worst stadium disaster.
