Sri Lankan cricket team attacked in Pakistan...

Sri Lanka cricket team manager Brendon Kuruppu said today his players were lucky to be alive after gun attacks on their team bus in Lahore. 

Five players received shrapnel wounds when gunmen opened fire as the bus made its way to the Gaddafi Stadium this morning ahead of the third day of the second Test between hosts Pakistan and the Sri Lankans. 

Head coach Trevor Bayliss, an Australian, also received minor injuries in the terrifying attack that killed at least five Pakistani policemen escorting the team bus. More...
