China: onlookers taunt suicidal man to kill himself...

A suicidal man was jeered by shivering onlookers as he stood on top of an eight-storey building in freezing weather. 

Fed-up commuters urged dithering Mao Yung, 28, to jump after they were stuck for six hours as police closed off a bridge. 

They yelled: "Jump, quick! It's so cold. We're all here to watch you." 

Police finally managed to pull the man to safety in Changchun city, northern China, after he told them the crowd's attitude had sickened him.
