Pushing forward the stagnant Middle East peace process will be impossible without a lasting truce in the Gaza Strip, French Prime Minister Francois Fillon said in Egypt on Tuesday.
His remarks came four days after a six-month truce between Hamas, the democratically elected Palestinian resistance group in the Gaza Strip, and Israel expired.
