Ajmal Amir Kasab to be injected with "truth serum" as Indian intelligence agencies blame one another...


Police hope to discover whether gunman Azam Amir Kasab came from Pakistan through the use of "narcoanalysis" – a practise banned in most democracies.

The technique was used during the Cold War before it emerged that barbiturate sodium pentothal induced hallucinations, delusions and psychotic manifestations

The row over where the gunman came from has caused major dispute between India and Pakistan as the nuclear-armed neighbours dispute each other's claims. 

Police believe he is from Faridkot, a small village in Pakistan's south Punjab region, but President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan has insisted there is no 'tangible proof'. More...
