KKK murders recruit who refused to leave initiation ritual...

Police say a woman invited to a Ku Klux Klan initiation ritual was shot dead after she asked to leave.

It is believed the victim was recruited over the internet to participate in the ritual in the U.S. state of Louisiana.

Officers say she was due to return to her home state of Oklahoma to find other members for the white supremacist group.

Investigators found weapons, several flags and six Klan robes at the campsite, following the shooting on Sunday.

Eight people are being held in connection with the death, including 44-year-old group leader Raymond Foster, who is charged with second-degree murder.

Seven others - five men and two women aged between 20 and 30 - have been charged with obstruction of justice. More...
