Radiohead:doing things differently...

With their BBC takeover looming, rock band Radiohead have announced a remix competition for their new single ‘Nude’.

The separate parts from the song are being made available to buy on iTunes. The parts available are bass, voice, guitar, strings/fx and drums. In the first week they are available they will be bundled together into a file which is ready to open in Apple’s own music production package GarageBand or popular studio software Logic.

Fans are being invited to remix the song, either using the original parts or by adding their own beats and instrumentation. They can then upload their remixes to the site Radiohead have created for the competition - radioheadremix.com – where fans will be able to listen to the different entries and vote for their favourite. More...
