A couple called for a Kitsap County sheriff's deputy Thursday after realizing their attempt to adopt a dog from overseas was likely a scam.
The couple told the deputy that they were communicating with a couple who claimed to be a missionaries in Africa. They were looking for a "good Christian home" for their English bulldog, reports said. More...
