New revelations about UK's Libya plans...

Fresh revelations about British officials' seeking to win lucrative Libyan oil deals have confirmed Britain's determination to exploit Libya's resources.

As the British government is under fire for its secret ties to the former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, new revelations about a British minister's role in a $1billion Libyan oil deal have raised more questions about British government's integrity and the details of its operations behind closed doors.

Recently, it was revealed that the Tory minister in the Department of International Development, Alan Duncan, has secured a lucrative deal for the oil company Vitol and its chief Ian Taylor to cut off the fuel supply to Gaddafi's forces bringing huge profits for the company.

In May this year, the British officials working in the Foreign Office formed “Libyan oil cell” launching a secret campaign to weaken Gaddafi's regime by taking control of flow of oil across Libya.  More...
