Microsoft to offer free Office software...

Microsoft is to launch a free online version of its Office software in the latest challenge to its arch-rival Google.

The move, in an intensifying war between the two giants, will see it catching up on products that Google launched three years ago.

Google announced plans last week to challenge Windows with a free operating system. Microsoft introduced a new search engine, Bing, last month. More...
