An allegedly philandering husband in the northern province of Nueva Vizcaya went to bed drunk on Wednesday night and woke up to find two important parts of his life missing – his wife and his penis.

Police said 26-year-old housewife Agnes Dangiw, in an apparent fit of rage and jealousy, cut her husband Bong's penis using a sharp kitchen knife as he was in deep sleep.

Unlike John Wayne Bobbit, the former US Marine whose penis was successfully reattached after it was severed by his wife Lorena Leonor in 1993, Bong Dangiw will have to live without the symbol of his manhood. More...
